About The Western Division of MIBOR....

The Western Division of MIBOR is an organization that was formed to enhance all aspects of the real estate business. In addition to encouraging participation and support of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® through knowledge, growth and community service among its members, the Western Division of MIBOR has several philanthropic endeavors which include the Clothe a Child, The REALTOR® Foundation, and the Real Estate Academy of Leadership (R.E.A.L).


Clothe a Child....

Each year the Western Division of MIBOR in conjunction with west side schools provides Christmas to families the schools have identified as being in need of assistance. The Western Division of MIBOR members shop for clothing and small gifts for numerous west side families. In 2008 the Western Division of MIBOR assisted 58 children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The REALTOR® Foundation was founded in 1984 by the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS®. The REALTOR® Foundation is committed to fighting the serious problem of homelessness in central Indiana. Its vision is simple, "To transition central Indiana individuals from homelessness or inadequate or unsafe housing to permanent solutions that will positively change their lives." The Western Division of MIBOR is committed to helping the REALTOR® Foundation in our own way. We support it financially with contributions from fund raising events and the 50/50 raffles. In 2008 our members gave a very generous contribution of $2,000.00 to The REALTOR® Foundation. We believe that everyone should have a home!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

R.E.A.L. is a dynamic training program designed to expose participants to the principles of leadership as well as issues and trends in the community. The Western Division of MIBOR encourages our members who are actively involved in Western Division events and committees to apply to R.E.A.L. If accepted, the Western Division of MIBOR gives scholarships to each of its members who have graduated from the R.E.A.L. program and have shown active participation in the Western Division of MIBOR.
